How military rank works in Black Ops 7
Military rank is the account level and runs from 1 to 55. It fills with account XP, and each new rank asks for a little more than the one before.
As the ranks go by, the game opens weapons for every class, perks, scorestreaks and lethal and tactical equipment, until Create-a-Class has its full set of options.
Rank 55 is the end of the cycle. There you can enter Prestige, which starts the next stage of progression; until you decide to, your account simply stays at 55.
Where the XP comes from
Account XP is paid for match score, objective play, medals, match completion and daily and weekly challenges. The more a player contributes in a match, the more of the bar it fills.
That is why boosters favour objective modes such as Hardpoint and Domination: time on the point and captures keep the score running for the whole match, so a strong player levels much faster there.
Bot lobbies and XP exploits are the shortcuts that get accounts flagged, and they have no place in our orders. Every rank you buy is played by hand in ordinary public matches.
